About This Game Sky Knights is an action-packed top-down online multiplayer dogfighting game. Enjoy thrilling head-to-head aerial combat in 4 vs 4 team fights and outmaneuver opponents with tricks and well-timed afterburner boosts. The goal of the team battles is to take out the enemy bases. This must be done while fighting off the enemy players. You will also need to carefully manage your ammo and fuel supply. Rearm and refuel by performing skillful landings in the home base. To be successful, your team must perfect a balance between attack and defense; engage the enemy in combat while supporting your allies in the air as well as on the ground. Tactically choose the fighter jet to fit your play style and your team’s needs. Super fun but requires a lot of skill to master!. the only MOBA worth playing. Before I start this review, I wish to add note that I received this game for free from the developer through a giveaway. The developer's kindness has no affect on my opinion on the game, but I felt it should be noted.This game is pretty amazing. When I first watched it, I thought it was a cool concept, but was skeptical about how it would actually play. The gameplay is actually quite fun and fluid. Each plane I have used so far feels different. Matches are easy to start, due to empty player slots being replaced with AI. I have noticed that the AI seems to be quite overpowered at some points, but other than that, it's fine.For being an early access title, the game is not very buggy. I've only run into 1-2 bugs so far, and neither of them were game breaking. The game is also very smooth. I don't believe I ever dipped below 60fps. But at the same time, the graphics aren't amazing, but they're decent. Before full launch, I hope to see the graphics improve greatly.That's essentially it. If you're looking for a good, fun game to sit down and play with your friends, I suggest this game. It's very fun, and to some extent, requires good teamwork to ensure you complete the objective with the variety of planes and the upgrades they offer.EDIT: Just played a game where the one of the AI pretty much killed you right off of spawn, while the rest did nothing. It was a 17-4 Drakunov.. Such a good game, I honestly can't reccomend it enough. It's very basic, but soo addictive, well worth its cost.. A real treat of a game.Inspired by TOP GUN, Sky Knights is a 3D, top down, "realistic" airial combat game.Premise is simmple 2 bases, 3/4 command outpost, destroy the enemy outpost protacect your own... ??? .... profit.The camera angle dose require some getting used to but after fiddling with the key bindings its simmple to use but... well you know how the saying goes; altough you can lose track of your own plane in a massive furball so it would be nice if the devs improve the HUD and player plane location to avoid the whole... where am I scenario.You got 2 factions fighting the NATO with all of its America airplanes (WTF IKR) and Warasw with all of it Russian planes... its as basic as it can get but its lots of fun.What's missing tough is maps and modes... ATM thers only 3 maps and 1 game mode (as stated above) lacking the clasic DM,TDM and anything more since arial combat is the shining gem of the whole game and it makes no sense to fly A-10 or Su-25 destroying bases and ignoring enemy players alltogether even tough its the fastest way to win.The devs have a DISCORD server and you can even see when somebody has hosted a match or if you need a hand figuring out the game (flying,clases,outposts,manuvers,stamina managment...etc).ALL IN ALL I look forward on how the dev intends to improve the game and do consider gettinng it on sale since the asking price ATM is a bit much since its in Early Accss. Sky knights is a kind of game which focuses on team air combat. Even though the concept works okay, I find that it gets too repetitive after a while. Probably, the main reason for this is the rather limited content and options. It would definitely benefit from more variety in almost every area, particularly weaponry and stages.The visuals are another area which leaves much to be desired. Apart from the aircraft models, which are too small anyway, the rest is quite disappointing, most notably the stages; they are rather crude and uninteresting, making the game even more boring, as there is nothing really beautiful to look at.I would not say that it does not have its good points, though overall I do not recommend it.
